The Overseas is Vacheron Constantin's travelling watch, and this is its most considered face. A blue lacquered dial carries a moon phase at six o'clock and a retrograde date that sweeps the upper arc and springs back at the month's end. The bezel is cut to the six points of the Maltese cross the maison has used as its mark since 1880, and the bracelet is integrated into the case rather than fitted to it, each link half polished and half brushed.
